Total Fury, Broken Needle, & Punch @ Che Cafe: Reviewed!

Thanks for the encouragement...got to the Che Cafe around 730, and a band was about to go on, the female fronted Punch. The guitarist was warming up with jawbreaker - ache and a one man army song, so I figured they were from SF. Then, they surprised me: kinda thrashy, pretty awesome. Unfortunately the mic was way too low, but you could tell she was screaming. Kids were singing along, into it. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... =146449855

Up next were tourmates of the 2008 Winter US Break-Even Tour, Broken Needle. More punk rock than the first band, and real good. Kids even more into it here...awesome. Closed with a cover of minor threat's "stand up". http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... ID=7376802

Lastly, Total Fury of Japan went on. Fucking awesome thrashy with rock n roll thrown in and it was just great. Kids flying around. The drummer just pointing at everything and being psyched. The singer climbing on the rafters, then getting picked up and paraded around. They tried to stop playing, but we wouldnt let them. They played two more songs, and then minor threat's "filler"....into "straight edge". Awesome. Here is the setlist as written out:
